Progress toward achieving a healthy lifestyle is important. Whether it’s that last bit of weight that you want to lose or it’s building muscle on a particular part of your body. Progress is the world’s best motivator to continue being a healthier person.
Sometimes it’s not always clear if you’re making progress or not just by looking at yourself or by standing on the scale. Sometimes it’s the smallest things that encourage you to continue. For me personally, I put on a shirt the other day that use to be kind of tight on me but when I put it on, it fit me perfectly. That showed me that I’m actually achieving results even though the conventional ways of checking aren’t showing that I am. Also just feeling better in your everyday life is a good way of knowing that you’re doing the right thing.
Eventually you’re going to reach a point where you might stop losing weight or you may even gain some. It’s not necessarily because you’re eating too much or not doing enough, you could be building muscle which weighs significantly more than fat does.
Keep working hard and watching your progress and adjust accordingly and you’ll become the healthier person that you’ve always wanted to be!
