I’m so glad that summer is finally here. Where I live it seems to have been raining constantly for weeks and even when it was calling for sun, it still seemed to rain.
With the lovely weather that we have gotten this week, I took advantage of it and went for my first 5km outside run of the year. It felt amazing to feel the terrain moving past me instead of just staring at the same spot on the wall while running on the treadmill. I also went for a nice 20km bike ride yesterday with my dad. It was a really great way to end Fathers Day.
I hope everyone is working hard and pushing towards their fitness goals and that you’re using the summer weather as encouragement to work even harder! Don’t forget to have some fun with family and friends though 🙂
It’s been a long time since I’ve posted a blog and that’s mostly because I lacked motivation and inspiration to write one. I’ve been quite busy with my new job but I intend to write on a more consistent basis.
So an update on my workout plan that I started. I actually ended up starting over after a couple of weeks because some personal life events got in the way and I was barely working out and eating right so I came to a stand still as far as weight percentage goes. I’ve been hitting the gym 7 days a week now which I love and only in the last couple of days or so have I actually gotten back on track with eating the proper things. I didn’t actually gain any weight while I wasn’t working out or eating but I sure didn’t feel as good as I do now.
Don’t count on me posting every day but I’m sure to have much more content here in the future!
